Directions within Lagos
Whether you are at the restaurant amid the dunes at the Meia Praia, on the promenade at the Lagos Marina, or looking across the park outside the wall you cannot miss the bell tower and expansive roof of San Sebastian church. From there the apartment is two doors down the hill, towards the main plaza. Number 44, Rua Cons. Joaquim Machado (3rd floor DT – on the right). We are about five minutes walk from the bus terminal and twelve minutes walk from the train station. On the ‘Out & About in Lagos FREE MAP’ the church is behind #7, the Fish Market.
The closest parking is just north of the Church, accessible via Rua Antonio Crisogano dos Santos (this involves a bit of narrow street old town driving). There is ample parking in the dirt lot just past the bus terminal or along the promenade. Almost all the parking is free.
Walking: from the Train. The big pink building off to the left when you come out of the station is Lagos Marina. Walk past the left side of that and you will see the footbridge dead ahead. Across from the footbridge is the bus terminal.
From the Bus Terminal. Walk down the main road past the petrol station and you can either go up the steps directly after the petrol station or continue on to the main plaza. Up the steps you will find the Church of San Sebastian on your left. About half a block past on the left is the apartment. If you walk into the main plaza continue on to the first road on the right, take a sharp left and then right. Walk past the Bora café and up the hill about half a block. There we are on the right.

local rail, an easy and picturesque train journey from Faro. The A22 Autoroute takes you right there from Faro, just follow the signs to the center of the ciudade. The roads are very well marked.
